They come in all sizes and shapes but they are nevertheless beautiful
(by momentary standards) vessels who serve.
A series of porcelain vessels were done in the same time period and fired
in the same kiln together and have not wanted to separate ever since.
They are like girlfriends sharing the same fate. They are not uncomfortable
in their positions and as long as they can remain high on this mantle
together they will never suffer damage by the indignities that some of
their female cousins (who covertly perform the same services in the dark,
under the rug, etc.) would like to inflict.
